FAQ

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions.

If you have any questions, please call us at any time.

  • Canceling a move
Once you have decided to move, you must decide on a moving company, but if you cancel the contract for your own reasons after signing a contract with a moving company, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
  • Moving company compensation
If the moving company's staff causes damage to your property, house, or person during moving or transportation, the moving terms and conditions require compensation.
  • Can I ride in the moving company's truck?
Cars are for the sole purpose of transporting luggage. Customers are not allowed to ride in the cars. If you need transportation, please contact our staff.
  • I would like to move my pet with me...
Please contact us regarding pets. It would be a good idea to check your insurance, just in case. There are some items that the business operator can refuse to transport, and this also applies to pet dogs [Standard Moving Transportation Contract, Article 4, Paragraph 2]. However, we may accept transportation as a special agreement even if we cannot refuse the shipment under the terms and conditions.
  • Are there any items that cannot be carried when moving?
Some items in a move cannot be loaded onto a truck and cannot be carried.
  • How should I disassemble and assemble chests of drawers, beds, etc.?
There is a plan in which a person in charge will disassemble, transport, assemble, and install the product on the day. (Additional charges may apply if the furniture is not of the simple disassembly type.) There is no need to worry, as the disassembly and assembly of the furniture will be carried out by skilled workers. If your order requires special tools, etc., or if you have furniture built in your room, it may not be possible to disassemble it. Please contact us in advance.
  • Can I move on a rainy or snowy day?
All vehicles are dedicated panel vans, so there is no problem even in sudden rain. We will communicate with our customers and consult with them regarding typhoons and snowfall in the metropolitan area. In case of bad weather, it is possible to postpone the event, but depending on the reservation status, it may be several days later. Please note. We carry out moving work in normal rain, but in heavy rain, the rain may blow into the loading platform and the floor of the building may get wet, so it may take longer than usual to proceed while keeping an eye on the rain. note that.
  • When moving TVs, VCRs, microwaves, etc., what preparations should I make?
Moderate-sized appliances such as televisions, computers, and microwave ovens can be left as they are. It is safest to pack them in the box they came in when you bought them. If you have it, we will box it for you. If you don't have it, don't worry, our staff will protect and transport it the same day. When it comes to connections, we can handle simple connections, but for complex appliances you may need to contact a specialist. You will also need to ask an electronics store to mount your flat screen TV on the wall.
  • Is there an express charge for moving?
When using the private rental type, as a general rule, expressway, toll road, ferry, etc. expenses must be paid separately from the moving costs. Depending on the route you take, one-way or round-trip travel is required. Even at the quotation stage, you can check the travel route etc. and calculate a rough estimate of expressway tolls, etc. Please ask the person in charge.
  • What if the furniture doesn't fit in the new location? ?
If you cannot place furniture or enter through a door or stairs due to the floor plan, we will check the floor plan in advance and prepare a delivery route and necessary equipment. In addition, if there is a significant cost burden for transporting the item, we will consult with the customer and deal with it. What we can do is store furniture, etc. (in a trunk room), and deliver single items in small quantities to your parents' homes or friends' homes. If you are having trouble disposing of your furniture, please contact the person in charge as we also dispose of unwanted items.
  • How are moving fees determined?
Fees are determined by the amount and size of the luggage, the location of the building, the road, the condition of the loading/unloading route, the transportation time, and the distance. As each customer is different, so is the price. For more details, our sales staff or person in charge will explain them to you at the time of quotation. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Things you should check before moving

Request a floor plan of the place you are moving to, and check in advance where your current furniture will be placed and whether it will fit in the planned location. For furniture that will be placed above the second floor, it is necessary to check in advance whether it can be transported to the second floor using the stairs. If you cannot decide on your own, consult the moving center or transportation company where you requested the move.

Points to help your move go smoothly

When your move is the next day, number your packed items and make a simple list of your belongings. Mark the cardboard boxes containing items that you will use immediately at your new residence. Make sure that necessary documents, house keys, etc. are not lost in your belongings. Call the shipping company to confirm that a truck will be available the next day.
